Almost Done!

May is the month that the students love!

The End Of The School Year!

Please make sure your students come to school on the last day, May 23, with a paper sack or garbage bag. They need to clean out their desks.

Also, the last week of school is a FREE DRESS DAY WEEK. They are able to wear whatever they would like to on these last days in fourth grade.

In The Classroom

¬    The Science Fair went well this year. The fourth graders did exceptionally well in their experiments. Thanks for coming to visit. In case you were wondering, Jeff’s frog is still alive and doing well.

¬  The Fourth Grade is getting ready for the Presidents play on the 3^rd of May. Please join us for treats before the show!

Spanish Class

May 5^th is CINCO DE MAYO!

The fourth grade class will celebrate Cinco De Mayo, which is a Spanish holiday. All I ask is for each student to bring two bags of candy or other treats to fill the piñata.

Come to the fiesta! There will be beverages and other treats for all to enjoy! It will be Friday, May 5^th at 2:00 pm. ¡Adios!

Huskers are coming!

In case you were all wondering, our school is having a mini pep rally. Some of the Nebraska Huskers are coming to our gym to talk to us about staying in school and saying no to drugs. Eric Crouch will be the motivational speaker along with a couple defenses lines. Come and see the Huskers May 14 at 1:30pm.

Fourth Grade Bake Sale

Since it’s the end of the year everyone has that craving for cookies and cake! The fourth grade will have a bake sale May 11 to raise money for the end of the year party at Hummel Park. There will be more information about that when the time comes.

This will a great experience for kids especially if they get bored this summer!

Hey Volleyball Players!

Are you interested in learning how to play volleyball? The college of Saint Mary volleyball team is coming to coach a clinic for us. The camp will be July 6 – July 10. The times are 9 – 1. Sign up sheets are in the office. It will cost $30.00 per child.  Come sign up and meet the team!
